Gas Spring
Gas Spring:
Gas spring is an elastic component which can support, buffer, brake, adjust height and Angle.The basic principle is to fill cylinder with nitrogen and oil, or a mixture of oil and gas with a certain pressure, and then produce pulling force or pushing force by the pressure acting on the piston rod or piston interface. Gas spring are commonly known because of their usage in cars ( black door, motor cover). The first patent for gas springs was already filed in 1875. Gas spring are hydropneumatic adjustment elements. The key parts are the pressure tube, the piston rod and piston. Suitable end fittings on the tube and piston rod end allow the connection to the individual application. Gas spring are filled with high pressure . So the sealing is also highly important.
According to the structure and function of gas spring, there are compression gas spring, lockable gas spring, optional stop gas spring, Strech gas spring, damp gas spring.
